I used a pattern for circles I found that I made for earrings to make a belt. It was pretty easy to put together.
I have also listed some items on Etsy finally. My name is Majikthreads on there, so check it out.

Crochet Earrings
My new obsession is crochet earrings. I dont know why, maybe it's the inner hippie in me? My mother in law requested that I make her some hot pink earrings and some "Harley" earrings. Here they are finished and I will have to get a pic of her wearing them to share later.
These earrings were some that I stumbled upon online. Apprently a girl on this seasons American Idol wore them. I cant wait to wear them to work tomorrow. I am sure my co workers will give me some feedback, good and bad!

Scarves, Scarves, Scarves!
So, as everyone knows, I started crocheting scarves when I was learning. Everyone got them for Christmas this year. I have advanced in my scarf making abilities since then. I found really cool patterns for these scarves and I think they turned out pretty cool.

Weekend Project
Here is what I worked on this weekend. I think I developed carpal tunnel syndrome but I suppose it is worth it. Overall I think this turned out ok. It is very tedious and hard to keep it neet. I will try another one but thought that I would show you my first try. Excuse the ratty looking threads sticking out and the clasp looking funny....

Rainy Monday
So, here is what I accomplished on my rainy day. I made this cute tutu. It is supposed to be the University of Cincinatti but I think it would be so cute as a ladybug tutu. I can picture a little girl wearing a black leotard under it. I could aslo attach little black pom poms on it too. Just an idea.
I also thought that I would try to make some crochet earrings. They turned out pretty cute. I think I will add beads or some type of bling to the next ones I make. What do you think?

My newest projects
So, here are a few things that I have been working on. I have a client who has the cutest twins so I made them these super cute and easy hats. I cant wait to see the girls wearing them. I will definatly post pics. This comes from the blog Rockin' like a Hermet Crab.
I also made a cool necklace for my friend Candice. She is really funky and I thought this would be perfect for her. I will also get a pic of her wearing it too. I got this project from A Common Thread.
I get most of my projects of Ravelry.com.

Long time, not type
Sorry I have not blogged in a while. I have been super busy with stuff, I dont know what stuff but I am sure it was very important. I have been crocheting like a mad woman, making tutus, cutting hair and of course watching football!
I am so excited that an article was written about me and my sister in laws business, Whimsyroos, in the Roanoke Times. It is a great article with lots of good photos. We have gotten a great response from the article. Here is the link http://www.roanoke.com/news/nrv/business/wb/275582
We are going to start working on getting our inventory of tutus together and getting into stores this Spring. We also have a few festivals that we will be selling tutus in this summer.
So, things are going good. I have made a few new crochet projects. I am still learning but am slowly getting the hang of it. My cats seem to be my only models as of now.
